What is passion?
A strong and extravagant fondness or desire to another.
I hear many people speaking about the finished works of the cross.
While this teaching is partially true it is not completely true.
This teaching preaches it was all done at the cross we have nothing to do. Just drink and be merry.
Where does that leave passion?
I ask you my friends – do you believe Jesus was joyous on His death day? In the garden of Gethsemane He asked the Father to take the cup of agony away from Him.
You see, passion is experiencing the joys and pains of Who you are passionate about.
Let us look at it like this: when your spouse is hurting do you rejoice? No, you should sorrow and weep with them until they are all better.
Jesus said no greater love has a man then this: that he would lay down his life for his friend. Jesus considers us friends, He laid His life down for us. That was agony – the pain, the sorrow, the distress He took upon Himself came at a great price. His own friends would not stay up with Him on His last night to pray.
Jesus did not come to bring peace. By this I mean, following Christ is taking up our cross. I go through massive amounts of warfare everyday, but that is the passion He has given me for Him that keeps me going. That is an example of passion. I am not near as passionate as I wish to be, but His passion rages in my spirit.
Jesus come to divide the wheat from the tares and even families would be split apart. This is not a joyous thing. Yes, we are to count it all gladness when somebody comes against us but there is nothing fun about suffering.
Did you know Jesus still suffers? He still hurts. You can disbelieve me all you want, but I have felt His heart in deep intercession.
He is broken for a bride that continually rejects Him. He is broken for a world that is hell-bound and with no hope for a future. He was wounded for our transgression yet He still feels the affects of those transgression.
Living in the passion of Christ is difficult sometimes. Because in that intimate state the holiness of the Lord blinds you. Isaiah said, “woe is me for I am a man of unclean lips, I am undone.” That is what the passion of the Lord did to Isaiah. He was not in joyous bliss yet crying out with Truth of whom he was – unholy.
You see true intimacy with Jesus draws forth your sinful nature and draws you into genuine repentance. Repentance is not always fun however, it is needed. But, the passion of Christ goes deeper.
Did you know almost everyone of Jesus’ followers in the Word were martyred? They did not die in a state of exaltation, they died humiliated.
His passion is a fiery passion – He laughs when we laugh, He cries when we cry, He is our bridegroom, and that is what a good Husband does.
What about us? Will we laugh with Him? Sure, that’s fun. But what about crying with Him in that place in His heart where He hurts? The chamber of weeping? Will we experience the fullness of His passion? Or just a part we enjoy?
Everybody loves a laugh, but only true friends stand in the gap with their friends when they hurt – are you willing to partake of every aspect of Whom He is?

Arise o warrior bride – arise the time is now to take your sword and arise. No more sleeping. Be filled with fire. Be filled with love. You are created to war – for the King and His Kingdom. You were formed to be a bride so arise!
Now is the time, no more starring at the sword. It will overwhelm you no more. Grab a hold of your destiny – do not fear the fire that burns in your eyes, it is simply a reflection of His eyes.
Do not allow the world to quench the flame within – do not allow tomorrow to begin before you enter in!
Today is the hour today is the day of your destiny.
Put on the armor of your King.
War, war, the Kingdom of God suffers war , war and He has called you to TAKE THE LAND!
You are to take the land. No more hiding!
It is time to take the LAND – take it back, take it back, give it back to Him!
This is the hour this is the time – do not fear.
Your destiny is to be a warrior bride.
Filled with fire, filled with love.
The enemy sees the Fire in you, he attacks you thru the night. Do not lose hope. Do not give him ground! Fight, fight, fight my warrior friend!
The Lord says – today is your hour of victory! Keep your eyes on Him, keep your gaze on Him.
The Kingdom of Heaven suffers violence – but the violent take it by force!
At the end of the day, the end of the hour, your Redemption draws near – your Love comes to rescue you from the glare of the enemy.
But, Lord, I don’t think I saw a change? What occurred? Why did I war so deeply?
Look behind you, my friend, look behind you, do you see that crowd of people? They were chained but you warred for them – you fought for them in the spirit and you see, you see, the enemy has no room in their lives anymore!
Jesus, your King, your Bridegroom has freed them thru the warring, the fighting, the crying you did on their behalf! Keep warring – keep warring o warrior bride!
Up comes the sun – in the night time – the night time is over, your King has come to comfort you – He encourages you with His love. He ravishes you with His love. Let Him love you.
Keep being loved by Him and fight
Combining – love and violence, love for the King, love for the people, violence against the darkness. Fight. War. Stand in the gap, stand in the gap against the enemy’s camp, stand in the gap for the lost, stand in the gap for your sister and brother – fight, in His arms, fight, in intimacy, fight out of His heart, fight for the generation that slips away.
Let the fire be released within, let the love come rushing, rushing in! Hear the calling of the King, hear the heartbeat of Him and fight from that place! O warrior bride!

I write to you today about true ministry.
What is true church? True ministry?
True ministry is this – to look after orphans and widows in their distress and keep oneself from being polluted by the world (James 1:27)
Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, cast out devils, freely you have received, freely you give. (Matthew 10:8)
Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation. (Mark 16:15)
In that day, says the Lord, you will no longer call Me Master but I shall be your Husband. (Hosea 2:16)
I believe these four verses sum up our entire call for ministry. Hosea 2:16 describes intimacy with the Lord, which will cause you to burn for Him and release the good news, then your heart will burn for more to heal, raise, cleanse, and cast then finally, your heart will be for holiness and to help those who hurt.
However – years upon years of humanism has gotten into the church. The church has been seeped into worshipping deities of self, family, money, and celebrity status. The church has grown “ego-centric” – which is basically a nice way to put self centered.
I have seen too many ministries fall into self glory, as people exalt them above the Lord. My friends, we are just His mouthpiece we are not to be exalted He is – it is okay to like a certain ministry over another, I have my favorites however, they never should become gods to you – our only God is Yahweh and He is a jealous lover – He will not share His glory with another.
Another tripping point upon the church these days has been finances. We need finances to do ministry – that is true, I will not reject that, but, finances come when people are listening to the voice of Daddy. There is no reason to charge for meetings or say sow this amount of money into my ministry and the Lord will double your income. That is manipulation.
The Lord will not be mocked! He trusts His people with His presence – for those four purposes mentioned above – intimacy, winning the lost, healing the sick, raising the dead, casting out devils, cleansing the lepers, and looking after orphans and widows and desiring holiness as He holy.
The Lord is looking for a people who will stand up and BE the genuine church – no more games, no more manipulation, no more whose who, but Who He is shall be exalted.
Warning unto the body – mock the Lord and you shall enter into Ichabod – the glory of the Lord has departed… He will NOT share His glory with another.
Raise up oh church and exalt your King – stay in intimacy, reach the lost, fulfill the commission and love on those who have no love – otherwise, you are like the world and the Lord will spit you out of His mouth.
So, in conclusion, true ministry, true church is listening to His heart and following His lead – and as Moses said , “ If Your Presence does not go with me, do not send me.” You see my friends – His Presence is where all genuine ministry comes from – Him!

True evangelism in in danger of  being lost. True evangelism is not a man shouting on the end of street saying thus says the Lord you shall burn. That does not win anybody to Jesus. It is true only people who follow Jesus will see Him HOWEVER, evangelism is the following : LOVE.
Jesus is love. Period end. I am not going greasy grace on you. I know there is repentance. The Lord even said if My people call upon My name and turn from their wicked ways, I will heal their land.
NOTICE: He said MY people. You are not His person until you ask Jesus into your heart. Therefore those who scream at the lost and condemn them to hell know not the heart of Jesus.
What? The heart of the Lord is love.
You WILL never win the lost with cursing them. You see the demons harassing them then say see christians are evil, Jesus hates you.
Love conquers ALL!
So do we condone sin? Absolutely not HOWEVER, we love the sinner! I mean with genuine love! Cause His heart breaks for the sinner.
You know, when I had my experiences with hell, I came back and for three days the heavy grieving of the Spirit was upon me. He said that that pain I felt was only a tiny percent of the pain He feels when someone does not choose Him.
So, the heart of evangelism is connecting to the heart of Jesus and echoing the heartbeat of Him – which is love.
I cry to think of how much the church is staying behind the four walls of the church building. We are to be the church. Live as His tent, traveling where He does. But, be aware He does not go in a suit and a tie looking all spiffy to impress the audience. He goes to the hiways and biways – the prostitutes, the crack addicts, the alcoholics, the satanists, the witches, the athiests… that is Jesus, He would rather go after the one lost sheep then the 99 “saved” sheep.
So, ask Him where are You going Lord? It might scare you at first but ultimately you will live a lifestyle of true evangelism!

Blessings!

The Lord let me experience something last night that was intense. For four years, I felt the separation between Jesus and I – I have shared this testimony a lot but it gave me a deeper realm of understanding for those who do not know. However, last night I experienced something else.
I was at the movies – usually as I go there I get under major warfare – last night was no different HOWEVER, I began to FEEL what the narrator of this documentary felt. I felt the agonizing pain of the hearts of those who do not know Him. I sensed this man was an atheist and I felt the torment he suffered in his mind.
I came home and I sat in my room. I was washed with a depth of sorrow I have never experienced before. I felt extremely separated from my Lover. Jesus allowed me to experience this separation feeling – which I had experienced in a different way when I was in my dark night – but, this was more agonizing – there was no depression just feeling the hearts of billions who did not know Him.
As a deer pants for the water so my soul longs for You.
Many Christians do not understand this but, hell IS eternal! What is eternal? NEVER ENDING! The sheer fact of the matter is this – the Lord showed me that the vast horrors of hell are nothing compared to the depth of SEPARATION! Hell was never meant for humans but as they chose that path – the maggots, the demons, the fire, the horrendous smells, the darkness, the limbs tearing off – that is nothing compared to the pain of being separated from your Creator.
Even as I went to hell, a year ago, in two encounters I did not feel the separation because, Jesus took me there – but, last night, as He allowed me to feel the separation I started shaking and fell to my knees in agonizing pain in my heart – it is truly a separation of Spirit – His Spirit is not in hell brooding – when you are there you are in sense lost from your life support.
The separation of time and space and the depths of hell – there is no Love there – and His Love is what formed us. In essence in the separation you are absent from Love which is life itself.
Please Christians – do not be pew warmers any more – because people are dying every second going to hell – do not be luke warm! This life is about intimacy with Him and winning souls!
If you have never asked Jesus into your heart please do:
Dear Jesus, I admit I am a sinner and I am sorry for all my sins. Would You come and wash over me and take me to Your heart? Forgive me Lord, in Jesus name.
If you said that for the first time please email me cait@floodgaterevival.com

Thanks and blessings!

Jesus was invited into the home of Mary and Martha. Martha was busy preparing for the Lord to be made welcome but her sister, Mary was at His feet hanging on every word He said.
Martha grew frustrated and told Jesus to rebuke Mary and have her get back to work. Jesus said to Martha, Mary has chosen the better part, which shall not be taken away from her. (Luke 10: 38-42)

Mary was the first laid down lover of Jesus. She desired to “waste her time” in the eyes of man simply to be near He Whom her soul loved! Her sister was angry with her, did that affect her? No! She was lost in the Truth of Love from the Lover of her soul.
Being a laid down lover of Jesus far surpasses any call – you see we are all called to be laid down lovers – however, many people reject this call because it is a call of “sacrifice”. Now, any laid down lover knows that it truly is not a sacrifice to lose all you hold dear, because as you lose those things from people mocking you – you gain depths of intimacy.
Many people have rejected this call to intimacy because they are afraid of the outcome – and trust me – YOU WILL LOSE IT ALL – I have, but it is NO sacrifice to find the greatest Love of them waiting for you.
He is raising up an army of laid down lovers – will you join this army? Will you choose the better part – which is INTIMACY and nothing else!

I have been contemplating recently about the dynamics of revival. He has been speaking to me a lot recently about the “R’s” of revival, before it breaks loose. I will be writing one of these notes for the next couple days regarding what He has been showing me.
Repentance–> Restoration –> Reconciliation –> Redemption –> Revolution = Revival.
Now, of course, the Wind of the Spirit blows upon the earth and He can do what He wants when He wants. However, I do believe that there is something to the body when they acquire these.
The first “step”, if you will, to revival is repentance. Repentance is an act in which you humble yourself before God and admit you cannot live for Him as a fleshly human without His Spirit to assist you – when you repent you admit your failures and relay on Him to help you.
Repentance is the first step to revival. Revival ultimately means a healing of your land and turning back to His face and His ways. The Lord said in 2 Chron. 7:14 – “If MY people, who are called by My Name, humble themselves and pray and seek My face and (repent) turn from their wicked ways, I’ll heal their land.”
He WANTS to heal our land through our acts of obedience and repentance. He wants to heal our land thru a cleansing of His blood and a great move of His Spirit.
You may ask but why should we repent? The Word of God says, “For ALL have fallen short of the glory of God.”
We repent before His Spirit shall fill the land. Why? Because we are a sinful people in need of a Holy God. The acts of this world are horrendous and He wants to wash this land over with His Spirit – for a revival to break forth, an eternal revival, we must HEAD TO THE FLOOR! Our knees stuck to the floor crying out in repentance for our sins and the sins of our nation shall bring in the strong Wind of His Spirit upon these dry and weary bones. We repent because the kingdom of God is holy and righteous and only those who are washed white as snow can encounter Him and see the kingdom. “Repent! For the Kingdom of God is at hand!” Matt. 3:2
So, repent, and turn from your wicked ways and prepare for the greatest move of the Spirit in recent history.

A lot of you know that I see part of my call as a holiness preacher – not your typical you can’t wear makeup, can’t do this, can’t that holiness preacher but the kind that talks about Biblical holiness – holiness from intimacy! That is why many of you have been confused about my stance of perfection. I do NOT believe we are – as of yet – perfect.
Say what, Cait? Yes, that is true – we are not perfect in the tradiational sense of the word.
The Lord has cleansed us by His blood and to Him we are pure and spotless.
PURE – purity is not perfection – purity is a heart condition of a desire to be white as snow before your King. He view us as pure when we seek frevently after Him and desiring the higher calling of closeness which ultimately ends up in the burning away of our SINFUL NATURE!
“If any man be in Christ he is a new creation the old has gone, the new has come!” – 2 Corinthians 5:17
This is the verse that is most often sent around by the perfection camp. This verse is talking about how He views you as a new creation – you have been washed clean from your sinful nature by Christ Jesus.
But are we perfect?
“If we claim we have not sinned, we make Him out to be a liar.” – 1 John 1:10.
But, Cait, that’s past tense – that is not after you accept Jesus in your heart.
Is that true? So, you are telling me you have never had a bad thought, swore, thought of somebody in a lustful way, envied after somebody or their things, judged somebody, had greed, had anger, had bitterness, ex cetra ex cetra ex cetra.
Those aren’t sins – you may say – really?
“All wrongdoing is sin…” – 1 John 5:17
Anything that is not righteous is a sin! Therefore any of those things and many more are sins.
The modern day church is on two very opposite sides when it comes to sin – one is the seeker friendly doctrine which will not address sin and is particiually secular humanist in their view and the other is if you sin at all you go to hell.
That is where repentance comes in – He already sees us as pure and spotless but He wants us to come before Him daily and confess our sins.
But, Cait, I cannot confess my sins because that means I make mistakes!
If you don’t confess your sins
Even Paul said, we aim towards perfection. We should desire a lifestyle of perfection and righteousness before the Lord but saying that we are already perfect is calling the Lord a liar.

So what is the difference between holiness and perfection?
The Lord is holy AND perfect however, He is the only blameless One of all eternity – all our goodness is rags before Him.
Holiness is the desperation to be PURE in His sight.
Perfect is Christ alone! He is alone the One without sin.

“His word is my heart is like fire, a fire shut up in my bones, I am weary of holding it in, indeed, I cannot.” – Jeremiah 20:9. The Lord is raising up a Jeremiah 20:9 generation. We are the generation who will not relent – the Word of God, the fire of God burns greatly in us. We will never be satsified with “normal everyday living”. We will not be satisifed with a 9-5 workday unless we see a mighty move of the Spirit of God blow in our work place. We will never be satisifed with nice houses and cars. We will not be sastified. Truly the enemy wanders around like a lion looking for whom he can devour – our generation is meant to be aJeremiah 20:9 generation yet the enemy comes and makes the nonbelievers be lax – they become stagnany, dead, frustrated. THIS GENERATION IS CARING A GROWING FLAME! This flame will NOT be quneched by man’s opinions. Have you noticed the ones on the outside – they are burning too, with anger, and bitterness, and lust and sorrow…. IT IS A GENERATION THAT BURNS! The Word of God is burning so greatly – creating laid down lovers. This laid down lover generation will NOT relent! We REFUSE to grow weary! WE MUST RELEASE THIS FIRE or we do grow weary! The fire burns intensely in our bones – people try to mold us to “normal living”. We are the revolutionists – we WILL NOT mold into normal living. The outside world refuses. Have you seen have you seen my generation? It is burning, burning all around – burning with a passion – yet it lacks the truth , its the lacks the intimacy with Jesus! Lord, raise us up to be a Jeremiah 20:9 generation – we need to release Your fire. No more mundane living. Money doesn’t mean a thing. Families are second to You, my God and King. You are raising up this generation of laid down lovers. A generation that will NOT hold the truth in. A generation of Elijahs, Moses, John the baptists, Peters, Pauls! Burning prophets The burning ones that will not be sastified anymore. RAISE UP MY GENERATION RAISE UP TAKE THE FLAME THAT BURNS IN YOUR HEART! DO NOT CARE ANYMORE WHAT MAN WILL THINK! GROW INTO THE CALLING OF A JEREMIAH 20:9 RELEASE RELEASE RELEASE RELEASE!!!!!!!!!!!! NO MORE LETTING THE WORDS BE PENT AWAY RELEASE TIME THIS IS A TIME FOR RELEASE RELEASE RELEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This generation is the generation of face to Face encounters. Are you not tried of doing church as normal? How about of conferences as normal? Great worship then the speaker gives a message you pray and they take offering. I don’t know about you but I AM SICK of this! We got to tarry. We got to get lost in His embrace. I truly believe this generation is going to raise up lovesick worshippers, lovesick people who will stop at nothing then to be with Him and bring Him to a dying world.
I am sick of going to conferences and getting blasted and loveified and that’s it! I want a face to Face encounter, everyday of my life. I am sick of people going to heaven in visions and encounters and coming back UNCHANGED!
His presence is addicting…
but His Person is what I am living for!

This is the generation of face to Face encounters. I was reading the Bible the other night and the Lord told me to go to 1 Samuel 3. I went there and in my translation I read out of (the Moffatts) the Bible said that when Samuel had his experience where the Lord was calling out to him, the Lord was standing by his bed! WHOA! Imagine that – the God of the universe standing by your bed? No longer His presence but His person!
Jacob wrestled with God. Moses had a face to Face encounter with God. John the Beloved rested on Jesus.
Lord we long for the manifest PERSON of you. Imagine this everybody – being at church or in a conference and the strong Kabod came in…. okay so that’s overwhelming in itself but THEN HE walks in… in all His slepdour and true glory…. whoaaaaaaaa!
Face to Face encounters breeds a generation marked with hunger, desperation, fire, intimacy, and holiness! Only face to Face encounters will do anymore – at least for me! Face to Face encounters change you! Samuel walked into his calling, Moses had the shekinah glory on his face, John was a marked lover and ran passionately after Jesus.
Face to Face will change a generation! A generation that is dying and confused – they just want love. When HE HIMSELF walks in… they will be left undone and they will begin to seek Him. They want truth and not hypocrisy!

I am after the face to Face encounter when He Himself comes in the room, not just His presence!
